TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo, (태권도) also spelled Taekwon-do or Tae Kwon Do, is a KOREAN MARTIAL ART. It combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. GYEORUGI, a type of sparring, has been an Olympic event since 2000.


It’s no secret that the TAEKWONDO KICK are what really makes it unique. In Korean, kicks are called “chagi,” and can be executed in a number of different ways. These include kicks at different heights, jump kicks, spin kicks, and combinations of these.

LEE DAE-HOON

Lee Dae-Hoon is a South Korean taekwondo athlete. He won a bronze medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics and a silver in the 2012 Summer Olympics. He has achieved the first rankings in the negative weight of 68 kg in the world.
